	Egyptian filmmaker, she worked with director Youssef Chahine for 30 years. She directed Le Temps de Laura (1999) and Women Who Loved Cinema (2002). Both films show the anti-establishment movement of pioneer and rebel women. In 2004, she created the European Film Panorama (in Cairo). Her project Misr Film Focus focuses on development and production of projects by young Egyptian filmmakers.
