La Semaine de la Critique will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. Ever since it was conceived in 1962, La Semaine has steadfastly remained true to its tradition of discovering new talents by showcasing first and second feature films from all over the world. To celebrate its anniversary, La Semaine de la Critique is paying tribute to the directors and actors who have made their debut in this section by sharing their memories of their first experience of Cannes. Interviews by film critics or short films sent by the filmmakers themselves, the videos are memories or anecdotes of the directors and actors who wished to express their gratitude.
