INVITATIONS
Awarded Films of the 6th Morelia International Film Festival

Created in 2002, the Morelia Film Festival immediately became one of the most important cinema appointments of the Latin-American subcontinent. Structured around three competitive selections (short films, documentaries and first or second feature films, all exclusively Mexican), this Festival performs a wonderful work of discovery and fully support the young creation of its country, following the same rules as La Semaine de la Critique’s international work. We are therefore very happy to present a selection of films awarded during the last edition of the Morelia Film Festival, confirming this way the privileged link between La Semaine and Mexican directors and proving once again their dynamism, their daring and their diversity.
