Invitation to NISI MASA
A European network of young cinema, NISI MASA brings together associations from 21 different countries. Strengthened by the diversity of its members, NISI MASA is able to experiment in every direction: script contests, scriptwriting and directing workshops, distribution of short films, publications, conferences etc.
NISI MASA aims to facilitate exchanges between new talents by breaking down the barriers between amateurs and professionals. For the young European generation, widening the field of possibilities means considering cinema not only as an artistic form of expression, but also as a tool for understanding the world around us, and a passion to be shared - a true conveyor of European citizenship.
The 6 presented films have been developed as part of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 “European Short Pitch” editions, a project that mixes a re-writing session at Moulin d’Andé-Céci (France) and a pitch session with a panel of producers and European buyers. European Short Pitch is supported by the European Union’s MEDIA program.
