Translating the full title of Alex Piperno’s short-film, La inviolabilidad … sends shivers down your spine:
Inviolability of the home relies on a man brandishing an ax as he is standing in the doorway (on the threshold) …
This 26 year-old young man studied cinema in the Fundacion Universidad del Cine de Buenos Aires, and is the author of a few collections of poetry. The idea of a house that would be sexually assaulted came from “a set-up in San Francisco Museum of Modern Art”. Why did he choose a long fix shot? “Two things were clear in my mind right from the start, the frame and the location because I was very impressed by the cold harmony of the house …”
As for us, we are very impressed by his mastery of filmmaking.
