AGIT POP

After The Republic, his previous short, a thriller telling the story of a succession war over the head of State among the members of a political party, Nicolas Pariser gives us Agit Pop. The film retains the same thematic of power struggle, but this time among the employees of a cultural magazine about to have its publication terminated. The film, which focuses on the publication of the last issue, is a singular comedy, which he himself defines thus : « a burlesque film with long shots, a lot of gags and extras, with a great depth of field and one set ». In other words, this is a film that takes risks and is proof of the director's ambition.
