Morelia International Film Festival

Created in 2002, the Morelia Film Festival immediately became one of the most important film events of the Latin-American subcontinent. Structured around three competitive selections (short films, documentaries and first or second feature films, all exclusively Mexican), this Festival performs a wonderful work of discovery and fully supports the young talent its country, following the same rules as La Semaine de la Critique’s international work.

Oliverio lives in a building taken over by migrants from the Mexican countryside who work tirelessly to provide the basic services in the neighbourhood. He spends his time playing video games. When the summer rains causes a short circuit, inhabitants start coming up with new ideas on how to get power. Oliverio backs one possible solution.
